Topographical Surveys

As part of an onsite flood risk assessment, a topographical survey is essential to understand the topography of the site in question compared to predicted flood levels from applicable sources. This enables accurate depths of flood water to be determined internally and externally to confirm which areas and/or vulnerable assets are potentially at risk of inundation.

FCI offer topographical surveys as an in-house service using the latest surveying equipment from robotic total stations to GPS/GNSS rovers and even drone surveys where appropriate. A topographical survey will form an appendix of any flood risk assessment and can be provided in DWG/AutoCAD format if required.
