FCI work with numerous major insurance companies aiding them to better understand the flood risk exposure of their clients. Our staff throughout their careers have also worked for the majority of major utility companies including every transmission and distribution network operator (electrical), nuclear power stations, waste and clean water treatment works, gas pressure reduction stations and telecommunication hubs and exchanges. FCI’s staff have proven track record of completing flood defence schemes for CNI sites to the degree that our knowledge has been requested in high level strategic approaches by major utility companies. Outside of the utility sector we have aligned ourselves with numerous insurance companies reviewing flood exposure of their portfolio clients with a view to providing recommendations to increase the flood resilience/resistance of an asset. Portfolio clients include pub/restaurant chains, hotels and retail outlets.
